waste disposal
To reduce environmental impact, various measures have been implemented, most importantly eliminating lead from solder and using the minimum amount of packaging material necessary to protect instruments during transport.
Furthermore, we pursue a policy of employee involvement to foster awareness and commitment to energy saving and environmental protection policies.
Extending the life of our products, to be truly sustainable
This has led to significant design improvements, for example, in minimizing the consumption of devices and instruments, thus also extending battery life.
For some time now, governments and citizens have been placing increasing emphasis on the issue of waste disposal. Thus, for used electrical and electronic equipment, the European Union has developed the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Directive to ensure that collection, treatment, and recovery systems for electrical and electronic waste are implemented throughout the European Union. Individual European Union countries have passed specific national laws to implement this Directive, which has been effective in all EU countries since 2006 and can therefore be applied to all ROVER products, which have joined the ECOEM consortium for this purpose: WEEE Producers Register No. IT08020000002107 – Battery and Accumulator Producers Register No. IT09070P00001516.
Please remember that the symbol shown here, located on the instrument, in the manual, or on the packaging, indicates that the product must not be disposed of with household waste but must be disposed of properly, either at landfills or at a designated disposal center for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. When purchasing a new instrument, you can also return the old one to the point of purchase, which will arrange for its disposal at a designated landfill.
