How much does it cost to repair an instrument ?

NET prices for instruments repair: See table/model below.

• TIMELINE REPAIR: 15 working days (excluding transport time and approval estimates time);
• WARRANTY REPAIRS: 3 months on the same intervention;
• BATTERY WARRANTY: 3 months from the date of purchase;
• REPLACED PARTS REPORT: As the price of repairs is flat, NO REPLACED PARTS REPORT is supplied;
• IF YOU NEED REPLACED PARTS REPORT (applicable for out of warranty repair only): It must be requested with RMA and has a cost of 30 euros, which will be added to the flat rate repair;
• INFORMATION for the STATUS of REPAIR: Write a mail to wecare@roverinstruments.k8s.wtest.it mentioning the number of “RMA” that was sent to you;
• INFORMATION on the FAULT CAUSE: In 99% of cases it is impossible to provide an explanation of the real cause of the fault (unless obvious cracks that do not require explanations). In the event that the failure was caused by your unintentional negligence, we will call your attention.

IMPORTANT: For security reasons, according to IATA Directive, from April 2016 Forwarding Agents cannot transport FULLY CHARGED ION POLIMER BATTERY, for this reason ROVER send METERs with ION POLIMER BATTERIES only partially charged.

ATTENTION: For the following models: DM series, UD 22, ST 4 series, DM 16 series, PD series, ST 2 series, S2 and C-2 that have exceeded 10 years of life and/or equipped with lead or nickel cadmium batteries (NI-CD now prohibited) we do not recommend the repair. Anyway, if you want to receive a quote, please send a message directly to wecare@roverinstruments.k8s.wtest.it mentioning the exact model and serial number of your meter.

• * The expensive spare parts EXCLUDED from the cost above are for example: display, battery, mother board, etc.
